Guest greentangerine Posted September 6, 2009 Posted September 6, 2009 I went carbooting this morning and came back with 28 45's for a tenner... and they all play.... there are a couple of motown yesteryear in the mix, just wondered what age they are as never seen the label before, are they collectable, or only really at carboot prices. Also I am cataloging as I buy and putting prices I paid next to them mainly on the decent stuff, but looking at manships guide some of my 28 are list as £10 to £15, what are the values likely to be if they are scratched but play fine.
Gene-r Posted September 6, 2009 Posted September 6, 2009 Think the Motown Yesteryear singles date from around 1979 - 1980 onwards to the early '80s.
kevinsoulman Posted September 6, 2009 Posted September 6, 2009 deffo before that i was in the states in the mid 70's and they had been around long before then had some when i started collecting early 70's kev
pikeys dog Posted September 6, 2009 Posted September 6, 2009 mid 70s to late 80s... worth the square root of nob all. If a record is in Ovenchips for a tenner, its worth the biggest part of nowt in VG condition elsewhere.
