Bought one off 'Honest Pete' for a score not long ago, but I've seen it in boxes at dances for 30 and 40. Which I think is too expensive, personally, but if people think they can get that for it, good luck to them! Wouldn't say its a low recording so much as a muddy mix, but I know what you're getting at. Fab tune, though, as you say...

Is this the only way to get it on vinyl? Don't know the price, but the first copies of this pressed up were done legally by Jamie/ Guyden. These days i think they're better known as Universal distributing or something, i'd have to check to verify that on their business card. Also not sure if they had the above, or the instrumental on the flipside. But the credits were in small lettering, and pressed on the Dionn label. Both the vocal and instrumental came out on the "North side of Philly" CD. Martyn
Albert Petit Posted September 2, 2009 Posted September 2, 2009 Its 100% legit issue, the girl across the street side is an alternative take & Try my love is an unissued track, previusly issued on a CD compilation. I pay 50 GBP the past years at the same time some copies on ebay at 100$ more or less... Great tune in my opinion. Albert Petit. Guest TONY ROUNCE Posted September 2, 2009 Posted September 2, 2009 It's not an alternate take of GATS, just an alternate (and inferior) mix - in stereo, by Tom Moulton - that makes it sound like an alternate take...
Dave Pinch Posted September 2, 2009 Posted September 2, 2009 fact of the matter is its sold for £75+ a few times in the last 6 months weather we agree with it or not.. my mate wants one but wont pay over £50. as far as i know he still looking. i wouldnt pay anymore than that either tho to be honest dave
