Tony Foster Posted August 30, 2009 Posted August 30, 2009 The Rivals at that time !! Great track listing, the quality was high back then, however it still is now if you're in the right places! There seems a lot more quality soul 45's about now than there was then, and that's got to be down to the internet.

Philt Posted September 4, 2009 Posted September 4, 2009 Funnily enough they'll both be coming out of my little box to play at USOS on 19th - and I guarantee every fecker'll sit down when they do I thought you had sold the Billy Hines Phil? He's back with me pal, couldn't live without him. How can you not own a record which contains the words egg foo yung - I finally saw sense Seriously, I can think of a few things I've had to let go because of cashflow problems and that I've regretted, Billy was one of em (alongside Limelights, Matt Lucas, Idols, Billy Miranda etc) - as long as you know where they've gone though there's always the possibility when things improve ... ... take it easy bud Phil
Quinvy Posted September 5, 2009 Posted September 5, 2009 How can you not own a record which contains the words egg foo yung Absolutely my friend, brilliant analogy.
Anoraks Corner Posted September 5, 2009 Posted September 5, 2009 How can you not own a record which contains the words egg foo yung - I finally saw sense:thumbup: I'm also rather partial to Billy's 'Eleanor Jean'...nowhere near as rare, but mighty fine never the less!
