Guest
Hi Doc, Someone might correct me on this but to my knowledge the Ebony 45 is the only way to get it on vinyl. If not then I owe an apology to whoever it was that bought a copy off me a few months back...cos thats what I told them . Adam. Link to comment Social source share

Mark Bicknell
I would suspect that the only legit release of this is on the Ty Karim - Kent CD? but I could be wrong. Regards - Mark Bicknell. Link to comment Social source share

Guest Dr Pickles
Many thanks for the replies so far. So to re-cap. We think there was not an earlier release of this version. The same version was on one of the Lowton anniversary singles. This particlar copy came straight from Manships auction about 5yrs ago so I'm hoping this was an official release. Thanks again Doc Link to comment Social source share

Guest Dr Pickles
Please see an email from John Manship that should answer some questions: Dr P Ty Karim was pressed in 1984 300 copies only, they came via Simon Sousann and were a John Manship exclusive, no other dealer had them to my knowledge. Simon got Kent Harris himself to press the 45, so it was all legal. In recent times we have encountered only a few copies, 9 in all in the last 10 years every one we have sold immediately. Hope that answers your query John Many thanks Doc Link to comment Social source share

Ady Croasdell
Also that would make it a 100% legitimate deal and I'm not sure if Simon was capable of that. Link to comment Social source share
