Pete S Posted August 21, 2009 Posted August 21, 2009 (edited) Superb. Actually it was probably only in the UK that it wasn't a single. Had a couple of Euro pic sleeves. Edited August 22, 2009 by Pete S

Pete S Posted August 22, 2009 Posted August 22, 2009 I'm sure I remember the Four Tops performing this on a tv show in the 70's, saturday tea time sort of thing - anyone else?
Godzilla Posted August 22, 2009 Posted August 22, 2009 Lloyd Price finally destroys the stereotype about black people and dancing https://www.youtube.c...h?v=0kVj3sfVvcw
grant Posted August 22, 2009 Posted August 22, 2009 Awesome - surprised it's not more popular! it was years ago at wigan, big un for russ i think
jocko Posted August 22, 2009 Posted August 22, 2009 It was done originally by Four Tops, on the Keeper Of The Castle LP, which is by far the best soul record, but I do like Servio Mendes for a jig around the dance floor. They used to sing it in their live shows in 80's and think it might be on one of their live albums but can't remember what thats like
Eddie Hubbard Posted August 22, 2009 Posted August 22, 2009 C/U by Russ at Wigan as Sue Hunt , I found about 5 copies on Spanish in Benidorm while on holiday around '77 , used to like it , though left the album in a second hand shop recently , probably should have bought it , but those places ain't cheap any more ....Best,Eddie
