Guest jkw Posted August 21, 2009 Posted August 21, 2009 Any record, under say 50 quid (the cheaper the better) that you feel if given some push would (or should) make it..... I'll give you two; Bobby Boyd on Bang & Johnny Moffat 'You are the one' ??????
Albert Petit Posted August 22, 2009 Posted August 22, 2009 Rudi Stuart - I wanna love you all over - Delmar international Cheap as chips!! & sounds as caviar!! Take a look!
Godzilla Posted August 22, 2009 Posted August 22, 2009 Rudi Stuart - I wanna love you all over - Delmar international Cheap as chips!! & sounds as caviar!! Take a look! That clip sounds like the breaks they used to add to 12 inch versions of disco songs to stretch them out an extra three or four minutes
AlanB Posted August 22, 2009 Posted August 22, 2009 I think Tommy Rogers - Pass the Word on AJP (on Refosoul here) merits reactivation/push. Alan
Albert Petit Posted August 22, 2009 Posted August 22, 2009 That clip sounds like the breaks they used to add to 12 inch versions of disco songs to stretch them out an extra three or four minutes But its good tune Ok...in my opinion! Cheers!!

Mal C Posted August 22, 2009 Posted August 22, 2009 I've always rated Patience Valentine - our love (a Special Blending) MJR Only thing holding this back maybe the slow intro, but once it gets going there is one hell of a high on Par with Drifters - Outside World, not that the two songs are in any way simular sounds... I think this is more suited to a 100 club spin, Adey? Mal.C.

Guest posstot Posted August 25, 2009 Posted August 25, 2009 Roger Washington You're too much Joe Davis Records (A sophisticated soulful dancer from around 64,at a guess) Clarence Henry Come and dance with me Argo. (Up-Up tempo N,O's out and out dancer that is one to push in the RnB rooms..if it ain't already) Wayne Anthony You ain't wrapped to tight Roulette (A very infectious brilliantly produced dancer.. with a solid vocal that must be a goer from 65-67-ish i think maybe, possibly) can't do soundclips SOZ. (ANYONE?)

Guest TONY ROUNCE Posted August 26, 2009 Posted August 26, 2009 Sebastion Williams and His Soulmen - The one you can't have [Cotillion ] Shirley Walton's (better) original version on Enterprise is also far too underrated, and could do with a bit of serious exposure IMO.
