Guest POTTERIESPECK
DOES THE MR's KNOW. ----I KNOW ONE OF THE TOP JOCKS AND HAVE BEEN HIS COMPANNY WHEN HE HAS SOLD SOUNDS FOR FOUR FIGURED SUMS. ALSO BEEN THERE WHEN PEOPLE HAVE COUGHED UP SAME AMOUNT OF MONEY BUT REQUESTED HIM TO POST THE RECORD THEY HAVE JUST PURCHASED. FIRST OCCASSION THIS HAPPENED WHEN I WAS PRESENT I WAS A LITTLE BEMUSED TO WHY THEY HAD NOT TAKEN A RECORD THEY HAD JUST PAID HUNDREDS OF POUNDS FOR WITH THEM. THE ANSWER I GOT FROM MY FRIEND WAS, THERE'S LOADS WHO DO THIS NOW THEY DON'T LIKE THERE MR's TO KNOW WHAT KIND OF MONEY THEY ARE SPENDING ON PURCHASING THOSE ELUSIVE SOUNDS. SO LADS JUST A THOUGHT DO YOUR OTHER HALVES KNOW HOW MUCH YOU'RE SPENDING. Link to comment Social source share
Kevinkent
£35......That 's wrong - I'll show the missus then, thought I. Didn't realise it had only just started. A paltry £650 total for me - all on vinyl and all on bargains! Far too much though considering I've suspended buying due to my daughters forthcoming wedding. - Kev £3.20 a day........Just realised that if I stop smoking I can buy 3 times the vinyl and be no worse off!!!!!!!! dthedrug
Nice one Pete. £307.01 41 RECORDS, I know what I have won, and what I missed, I suppose the question should include, :- the following are you (not personally) treating EBay as a Auction or as a nice Shop where you buy all the Top Tunes?, Do you sell records on in Pete's case it should be a minimum return of £6K if you are so you should not be broke!, Are you bidding when you are stoned If not why not? (just Joking). And can you afford to have something just to say you you have had it? we all wish we still owned all the records that we once did. and so on I am very confidant that I could sell any of my purchases for double what I paid, and 5 buys would make me £150 on each of the purchase, All in All this is a great site and when you get the result back you can see nice pics of your treasures or stock. 5 Stars from me Pete well done. Pete S
In my defence, I do USUALLY only buy to sell again at a profit. Except since February, all the money I should have been spending on stock has gone on British label records which I've kept, so no wonder I'm in a mess, I should have spent it all on imports but I hate having nothing to collect Link to comment Social source share
John Reed
My listing doesn't go back 120 days as the last entry on mine was 2nd June. I think it really only takes the last 90 days as it excludes stuff I bought in May which is within 120 days of today. 22p shy of £500 for me and thats just ebay. michael-j
and don't forget it's excluding the P&P costs! 36 records for me, and almost all from the US, so that's another $250 or so... Link to comment Social source share
