For Derek, Shelia, Paul and Julie who I go to so many wonderful allnighters with, thank you lot for your mega company, this is for you:

I played Carla Thomas - I'll Never Stop Loving You on sat.night whilst dj'ing for my partner Viv.

That's a nice vision...in your front room curtains drawn...disco lights on..speakers on full blast..you at the decks.. just you and the missus.(yeh that was the temptations....it's request time..it's Viv again, she'd like me to play I'll never stop loving you...).laugh.giflaugh.gif

Sorry, couldn't resist.ph34r.gif (please don't hit me!unsure.gif )

I would have to go for.......The Isley Brothers, My love is your love, also...It kind of relates to my Late wife...her Daughter that she left behind/(my daughter also)...and my Wife now...Who gave up so Much to Take on SSSoooo much more. Now that tune is a real ball of confusion for me....that tugs at my heart strings like no other record.

Thank You kind Sir, I'd have to play The Temptations - Beauty's only skin deep, for all those Gurners out there but for Gail it would be The Inspirations - No one else can take your place, followed by Temptations - My girl, wub.gif of course I'd be Mr Ruffin. cool.gifwhistling.gifFinally for all the Scary Starry Children of the night, Lou Ragland - Travelling Man. onto.gif

Take care,be safe & remember,"Oh, The rain may fall in many places,da da,da,da,da,da,da,da, Oh, I may smile at many faces",

Just reading a few of the selected tracks and some bloody good ones I may add,

It bought a smile to my face thinking of the Darby and Joan club for all us oldies(yes there are a few of us out there)

Im 50 next week, can you imagine what our grand kids will say when we are all 70 odd yrs old,at the D+J dancing to old Northern tunes instead of now when the pensioners dance to the foxtrot etc

"Come on love he's playing a bit of Motown, never mind the zimmer,or your bad back we can still do it"

Yes I know plenty of you youngsters reading this will say it's like that now at some soul nights, but it will be you sooner than you think,

Very thoughtful.

If I had a jukebox, I'd give you 10p. so you could select something special for yourself. Or you could spend it on other things if you prefer. rolleyes.gif

What's made you so soft today?
