Try 'save picture as' Chalky, should work every time. Allows you to save as J-peg

That could be the problem - try using internet explorer and save one of the pics you couldnt save using firefox, that way you'll know if its your web browser.

If not, im stumpped mate, sorry

I recently noticed that too. Tried Firefox and IE, couldn't save pictures using both. There's a work around using the source code of the auction page but rather inconvenient.

Would like to know why Ebay made this, I mean it's not that somebody's auctioning rare .jpegs is it? Ebay manages to introduce an new annoyance almost every week, don't they?

Noticed that some of the Auctiva Scans now save, (used to be protected).

Why ebay keep changing things is an enigma known only to them I reckon.

They will eventually kill things and turn success into a failure, as far as we're concerned.

If it ain't broke don't try to fix it. (Surely they must have heard of this sound advise)

Get the ad-on 'downloadthemall!' and install into Firefox.

On Ebay click on the scan to enlarge it, then right click to 'save image with downloadthem all'

Strange - Just tried with both IE / FF with no problems - FF is rightclick "save image as" , and IE is rightclick "save picture as" ..

maybe it is a system that only effect some random pages , like the "new view" was (still is)

Anybody got a link to one NOT working ??

Cheers

Mick

Just played around a bit, using the old and new views on the very same auction. You can save/download pic's on the old view but no longer on the new view.
