Mike Posted August 3, 2009 Posted August 3, 2009 noticed that a lot of "want" requests in this section dont include the actual "want" in the title or subtitle you may get better results to your shout if you do include the title as then people dont have to open your thread to see what you are after

Godzilla Posted August 5, 2009 Posted August 5, 2009 noticed that a lot of "want" requests in this section dont include the actual "want" in the title or subtitle you may get better results to your shout if you do include the title as then people dont have to open your thread to see what you are after Doesn't seem to be working does it? Still posts appearing titled 'wanted' or 'just a cheap one'. I've never understood the logic behind making it appear like a guessing game. If people genuinely feel their post stands out more by giving it an (ahem!) original title like 'Anyone got one of these?' why don't they use the subtitle line to state what it is they're actually after? I guess like most things there will be a reason why people prefer to make you click on the post but I'm durned if I can suss it. Any offers?
