Jordirip Posted August 1, 2009 Posted August 1, 2009 Hi Anyone know the current value for one of these please?? RISING SUN-MIAMI BUMP (SRI RECORDS) Not seen one for sale exept the copy i have and not on popsike Only researched result i have found is it was on Jordi Rip's playlist from a while back As usual Jordi ,you have impeccable taste sir Hi Nev, I think Craig Meoerer originally had these at about $275. A couple have gone through ebay cheaply, but I would have thought about £100+ should be about right. Jordi 1
Jordirip Posted August 1, 2009 Posted August 1, 2009 its a high booker bout £800 ish, be interesting to see what it fetches in this flat market place? BAZ A Baz, it went for $769 on ebay. Jordi
Csta Posted October 16, 2013 Posted October 16, 2013 (edited) always wondered why this is so short. the vocal version kind of stops in the middle of the song only a few secons after the break. the music doesn't even fade out properly... is this a pressing mistake? are all copies like this? the instrumental version seems to be a bit longer... Edited October 16, 2013 by CSTA
Tolbert Posted October 17, 2013 Posted October 17, 2013 I would say about 100GBP now. I play this top song for some years now with a great response. Some time back I heard another version (same label) with a longer vocal part but vocals sounded a little bit different, maybe a different singer?? Was not as good as the short version most people used to have if I remenmer correctly. Tim

Steve G Posted October 17, 2013 Posted October 17, 2013 I'd agree with £100 maybe £150. Ivor had one on here recently thought he was a tad expensive @ £200 - but I think he sold it...... Steve
Jordirip Posted October 18, 2013 Posted October 18, 2013 The reason i sold it ...bump ...bump ...bump.............bump .....bump ...... Me too Nev. That bit in the middle took up most of the record it seemed and the brilliant verses and chorus' as has been said, were pitifully short.
Wrongcrowd Posted October 19, 2013 Posted October 19, 2013 Never understood what all the fuss was about.....not even averagely good IMO... 1

Steve G Posted October 19, 2013 Posted October 19, 2013 (edited) Can you do the dance tho? We used to play it years ago Saturday afternoon chill out record at Essence - 90's - not really a dancer, more "background pleasantness", to be played while people are chilling out, reading the papers, nurturing hang overs etc....Nowhere near good enough for night time spins. IMHO of course! Edited October 19, 2013 by Steve G 1
Kjw Posted October 19, 2013 Posted October 19, 2013 Is the guy Carlos who features on this the same Carlos who featured on Purple Mundi 1
