Paul R Posted June 29, 2005 Posted June 29, 2005 I have always been confused by this speed dating concept. Do you verbal to some bird for 3 hours about the colour of a record label and then find out your d*ck has shrunk Paul
Guest in town Mikey Posted June 29, 2005 Posted June 29, 2005 How about mixing Marvin - Lets get it on, with Salt and Pepper - Push it. That sounds like the makings of a potential number one to me, or is it a big number 2? You cant go wrong with a bit of Barry White, Steve. And one not soul, but a fave of mine and Matt from Leeds, Fairground Attraction - First of a million kisses

Guest Dan Posted June 29, 2005 Posted June 29, 2005 I think i have heard the Tams track but could do with a download please..That song would be great link here you go steve just been pissing myself playing it which says a lot about my juvenile sense of humour i suppose me and my mate used to run a little soul nights in a arse-end of the world mining town called atherstone in the 1980s, playing our pressings and trying to pull the local birds, which wasn't all that hard to be honest even if you were as ugly as us. we found that if you judged it right timewise (ie about 5-to-11 with about 30 cider and blacks inside them) this record was a great aid in that department hope it works for your speed date blokes
Guest Posted June 29, 2005 Posted June 29, 2005 Ain't nothin' wrong makin' love the first night - Jimmy Jones ( I think artist correct memories a bit hazy !!) Otis Clay - The only way is up or for the cynical Pages - Heartaches & Pain

Steve G Posted June 30, 2005 Posted June 30, 2005 I have a job playing music at a speed dating club..They want some sexy soul tunes...So come on then and help me out.. That's nothing mate - me mate Gavin used to DJ at a "Swingers" night in Brighton. On went the soul and off came the clothes - or at least that was the theory. I heard that the Manager / organiser got peed off because Gavin did such a good set that they were all dancing, when they should have been bunking off in pairs / threes etc. for unspeakable debauchery
Guest Posted June 30, 2005 Posted June 30, 2005 Stick some Teddy Pendergrass on.... Love TKO, Turn of the Lights.... or his stuff with Harold Melvin.... Satisfaction Guaranteed etc.... link I would go just to listen to the music only then if you played this! Honesty, I bet its fun being a fly on the wall, but not for me!!
