I have this 45 that looks pretty bad but plays great BUT it has a small 5mm long by 3mm deep chip out of the outside edge of the record and I am looking for the best way to fill in this gap with something that can be applied whilst still pliable but then sets hard after a short while.
The chip does not quite reach the start of the groove but I am afraid in time it might develop a crack that will spread inwards. Hence the need for this fill in.
Has anybody on here had experience of what I'm attempting to do and can they offer some advice.
All suggestions will be warmly received. Constructive suggestions only please. :o)
