45cellar Posted July 24, 2009 Posted July 24, 2009 Anyone else seen it? Any views out there? Apparently there are certain inaccuracies, but Personally I Enjoyed This Movie.
Cheapsiderecords Posted July 25, 2009 Posted July 25, 2009 Never got a cinema release in Canada but we rented it a few weeks ago. Definately worth a watch.
Guest john-h Posted July 25, 2009 Posted July 25, 2009 hi Cadillac Records great movie recomend it " Howlin Wolf " n "Etta James " tracks brilliant .Classic yank 50's motors will have americana spotters drueling. The best parts for me where the scenes in the recording studio "Howlin Wolfs " voice fantastic , Etta james "I'd rather go blind " nice slow track but well worth it .The end of the film what a way to go with nice shot in background ,watch this one won't say what happens dont want to spoil it for anybody.
Guest Posted July 25, 2009 Posted July 25, 2009 If your "musically knowledgeable" you'll always find fault and a music movie is sooooo hard to be totally on the button - I enjoyed it and all the style changes in clothes music and attitude from 40s thru 60s. Best one I've enjoyed since 5 Heartbeats
Guest Posted July 26, 2009 Posted July 26, 2009 Apparently there are certain inaccuracies, but Personally I Enjoyed This Movie. As you state Roger , the film has certain inaccuracies , obviously for legal / contractural reasons . Overall , a decent and enjoyable film . Malc Burton
