Daniel Harvey Posted July 24, 2009 Posted July 24, 2009 couple of nights ago I was out and heard a blinding record called ' i feel good' by Wes Black on the Star West label. Had never heard of it before but now I am fairly determined to get my hands on a copy. Does anyone know what I night have to fork out for such a purchase? I can't find any info about this record anywhere? thought maybe someone of here might have an idea. cheers , Daniel.

It shouldn't be too expensive as quite a few copies sold in the UK as a new release around 1980/1. Both sides pretty cool, so good luck.

Yes, must've sold quite well upon release. Two different label designs for the STAR WEST release and also a 7" and 12" issue on HIGHLAND. Can't find a label scan for the second STAR WEST label design at the moment, but here are the other three:

A very nice doublesider! I prefer the A-side these days...I think I saw it somewhere for 100 UKP on Highland, which is the rarer one..

Russ Vickers Posted July 25, 2009 Posted July 25, 2009 JM's says: Highland £30 StarWest £40 P No chance...........more like a ton or over............i've been playing this for some time now & always gets a great reaction, even die hard 6ts fans like the stomping back beat, played as a new release on the fledgling Modern Scene, but has massive cross over potential...........good luck with this. Russ

Without doubt an in-demand 45, but a Highland 7"copy sold for $9.99 a couple of days ago on eBay, so can still be had cheap if you look around.
