Plus it seems that old boots are fair game these days - after all there's only so many originals so if someone really wants a tune at any cost than this will be the route for many. If anyone wants my Johnny Howard green copy they can have it for the pricely sum of £40 LOL.... But I wish I'd never sold my Mel Britt boot............. Ian D

Personally think people should do there own research when paying big money for records. nobody knows everything but this day and age ,it's not hard to find out basic info But at the same time ,it's naughty for sellers (who do know) to leave out vital information. I saw a copy of Pages -heartaches ,on ebay that was a deffo boot, because i asked him for matrix info, told him but he conveniently chose not to edit his listing .It sold for over $200 The best one recently was a copy of JOEY DELORENZO listed as "very rare, only a few known copies" so i bid and won it for $78 ...thought it was too good to be true ,so i contacted him before paying to make certain . He said it was exactly same as copy on popsike..... that for me ,meant he knew exactly how much it was worth ,even worse ,i found his photo on popsike! Alarm bells rang so i contacted again ,he got real shirty with me ,told me his camera was shite ,hence the popsike picture ,funnily enough he was also selling clothes ,which he took pics of and they looked ok?? said he bought it for more and was only trying to make some money to pay the bills I backed out so please don't tell me that copy on Manship's auction is the same one
Chalky Posted July 18, 2009 Posted July 18, 2009 Why anyone would want to buy Joey Delorenzo puzzles me

There's a scan of this one and a scan of the original.
