Guest soul85 Posted July 17, 2009 Posted July 17, 2009 have stuff by Roy Lee JOhnson ,Don Gardener ,Quovans,Flamingos etc Anyone got any recommendations for good dancers on 45 nothin too expensive tho don gardner - my baby likes too boogaloo??? i think this i more of a raw RnB Track , if your looking for latin the fania label is always a good place to start! larry harlow,ray barretto,bobby valentin,joe bataan are always good artists to watch out for,if you want the big latin tracks like ray medina / hector rivera then your looking at a good few quid! 3 of my top latin tunes at the min are : goody oswaldo - im gonna have my fun - willow ( killer super uptempo new york latin dancer - also with good b side ) johnny zamot - boogaloo frog - grande ( amazing latin tune,also on the boogaloo frog lp! very hard to find 45 ) mongo santamaria - i cant get next to you - atlantic ( one of his many great tunes, this one has a great sax feel all the way through ,slightly funky but brill ) hope this helps, cheers

Lovely way to go for ten dollars thanks to finding an old Jim Bates tape which reminded me to buy this one, would mix in well with a bit of boogaloo.
