Anyone answering "yes it's shit" isn't really helping, I need to know if it's actually on a 45, it's by (apparently) Peter & The Infinites and it's called She's Laughing At You - I put a sound sample up on the topic below, it's obviously white but it's a big voiced haunting beat ballad and oi loikes them oi does.

SORRY! Don't know what happened there with the multi-posts!

It is indeed Peter & The Infinits (note: no E in Infinits), issued on the RUVAL label. Both sides have been comped on garage rock comps. Nice moody down-and-out type of tune. Always been a cheap 45 the times I've seen it. Here are some scans from a recent eBay auction:

Thanks Sebastian, it came off a compilation called "Found in the basement" which features mainly obscure US recordings circa 1958-65 - I've got about 6 volumes I think. Anyway I know what to look for now, many thanks.
