Pete S Posted July 13, 2009 Posted July 13, 2009 Anyone answering "yes it's shit" isn't really helping, I need to know if it's actually on a 45, it's by (apparently) Peter & The Infinites and it's called She's Laughing At You - I put a sound sample up on the topic below, it's obviously white but it's a big voiced haunting beat ballad and oi loikes them oi does. https://www.soul-source.co.uk/forums/topic/107024-peter-the-infinites-shes-laughing-at-you-unknown/page__pid__1113956__st__0entry1113956

Sebastian Posted July 14, 2009 Posted July 14, 2009 (edited) SORRY! Don't know what happened there with the multi-posts! It is indeed Peter & The Infinits (note: no E in Infinits), issued on the RUVAL label. Both sides have been comped on garage rock comps. Nice moody down-and-out type of tune. Always been a cheap 45 the times I've seen it. Here are some scans from a recent eBay auction: Edited July 14, 2009 by Sebastian
Pete S Posted July 14, 2009 Author Posted July 14, 2009 Thanks Sebastian, it came off a compilation called "Found in the basement" which features mainly obscure US recordings circa 1958-65 - I've got about 6 volumes I think. Anyway I know what to look for now, many thanks.
Ernie Andrews Posted July 14, 2009 Posted July 14, 2009 I really like that and could see it being played out-somewhere!
