dthedrug Posted July 5, 2009 Posted July 5, 2009 (edited) As a long time collector of black music, i don't think a week goes by without finding new variations of playing my records, indeed sometimes I will play 3 to 500 records over a 6 week period, and as most of us have found out over the years it,s when you MIX EM UP! that can lead you into a tangent, as such records that you have had for many years become your weekly all time favourites, this is the case with this Vocal Artist producer a certain gent called Arttus Suttersfield, who hails from Elizabeth New Jersey, and such a local man is he that there is a sticker on the Bobby Black AXIS record that names a Miss Brenda Navirro who apparently worked in the local hospital. At the moment I have just one disc from ARRTUS that has a fine uptempo dancer very in-keeping with today's taste in rare Soul it,s backed with a good Ballard, the other AXIS Disc is by Bobby Black that I got of EBAY 2 years ago for £15. The only other disc that I am aware of by Artist is very rare titled "don't Lie".. Has any one got more info on the man as the Body Black has 2 excellent sides that are worthy of being played (as I don't get out and about forgive me if they are or have had been well spun ed) if you see either one I can fully recommend the to yourself. DAVE KIL. By the way I have been asked why myself and Mick Smith were not at KEELE last week well you will have to speak to Mick, however I went Clubbing at Stonedhenge? see me club looking for the right GRUNGIE TO BASH DK Edited July 5, 2009 by dthedrug
