Soulie78 Posted June 29, 2009 Posted June 29, 2009 (edited) I found this record some months ago and do think it is a quiet intersting sound. I didn't find any information on it. Do you wise guys know this? cheers, martin do you know this??? - Edited June 29, 2009 by soulie78
Soul-slider Posted June 30, 2009 Posted June 30, 2009 The backing track sounds like the Hesitations 'Soul Superman' on Kapp. Is it Detroit? Obviously called 'Soul Country' right?

Soulie78 Posted June 30, 2009 Author Posted June 30, 2009 (edited) Both of you are right. Only info, I do have is, that it's not the the well known OMEN label and bUTCH told me, that he only saw it once and it was not for sale at this time. So it is probably very rare cheers, martin PS: Over a system the backing vocals do sound much stronger than on this mp3. Edited June 30, 2009 by soulie78

Guest posstot Posted June 30, 2009 Posted June 30, 2009 Sounds like a Garage band doing there usual take on Soul music!! Gets a bit boring.....And No i don't think it's like the Hesitations either. Is it rare, So what if its . .
Soulie78 Posted June 30, 2009 Author Posted June 30, 2009 (edited) did not konow, that is a characteristic for records, like rare, expensiv, boring or does nothing for me. It could of course well be, that they are a garage band, probably mixed ethnicity. But where has the line to be drawn between the genres? When songs like "Soul Sound" are getting spins on the northern scene. Martin PS:Ken, when I mentioned it to him, he didn't really get mad and wanted to press it out of me. He just mentioned: well, yes interesting thing, just seen once. Probably it was just his politness. Edited June 30, 2009 by soulie78
