If we are talking sheer soulful quality, production values, melodies, lyrics especially on LRO etc, etc - and of course supreme dancability - for the perfect NORTHERN SOUL double sider, it has to be this record. Agree totally Mark. I remember when I first heard 'love Runs Out' way back in the 70s and I really did feel like it was the best record I'd ever heard in my life! Its still right up there for me in the all-time 20, but for a dancing double, this can't be beat - in my view that is!!! In another sense, the release with BOBBY HUTTON was definetly the best double sider by two artists released in the UK. Had one off Pete Widd and played it to absolute death.
