mine was the first one I ever heard at the casino when I walk through the double doors ............HAPPY-WILLIAM BELL

Best one for me was J.J. Barnes, how long, first spun by Dave Evison. Fantastic production and sounds as good today as it did back then. Tony T BONE. OZ. K.T.F.

Ouch!! Loved it but never heard it an all-nighter there but heard it at an all-dayer there...Think it was when The Deroit Emeralds appeared summer of 77

T Connection was played at the nighter,There was a guy at Wigan,I did'nt know him but he was a really good stomper,Always danced to it,I remember him beacuse he always wore a black cap sleeved T shirt with the words P-Funk written on the front,

Strange thing really but everytime I hear that record,I think of that bloke straight away

He was my favourite dancer, almost like watching him in a strobe light

A real tough one and I could list possibly 100's, but i'm going for:

Richard Searling -

What happened to yesterday - Mr Soul / Al Scott

Covered up as Maurice McAllister - Your love is slippng away

I was there that night; thought i'd appeared on screen back then, but not seen myself on the clips i've seen on it recently:chinstroke:.

incidentaly I was known locally as funky phil:shhh:, as I tried to emulate that style of dancing, never quite achieved that quality though.

I've racked me brains on this because as stated there was always another track appearing to become the favourite of the time. I must have had a new favourite every month.

In the end though I've come up with "Sandi Sheldon-You're Gonna Make Me Love You". Top tempo and always a brilliant dance floor reaction when that bump, bump, bump, bump, bassy intro. reverberated through the building. Ahhhh, memories.
