Dayo Posted April 14, 2004 Posted April 14, 2004 Well, no wonder I like the bloody record so much. At least I can admit it now without shame.... Anyone catch the Take That prog on TV over Easter? Ian Levine was interviewed and he let it slip that all the backing vocals and the entire chorus on Could it be Magic were sung by... Billy Griffin!!!!
Gene-r Posted April 14, 2004 Posted April 14, 2004 I did see it and, yes, I am not a bit surprised....... Gene
soulmac Posted April 14, 2004 Posted April 14, 2004 While on the subject of Billy Griffin, anyone got a copy of his Atlantic 7" from 1986 "Believe It Or Not" for sale. UK or US as long as it's the 7".
Gene-r Posted April 14, 2004 Posted April 14, 2004 Don't have one, but I'll certainly keep a look out for you. Gene
Guest Posted April 15, 2004 Posted April 15, 2004 Billy's on more than one "TakeThat" hit -and a few more things besides ! :-)
Gene-r Posted April 15, 2004 Posted April 15, 2004 Yep - devious or what? But when you take in to account the production "team", should it come as a real surprise? Gene
Guest Posted April 21, 2004 Posted April 21, 2004 Dunno about that Gene. I think thats just the way it is in the studio and the way the music business works.
