The Tempest Posted June 22, 2009 Posted June 22, 2009 Any ideas would be grateful , mate mentioned it was on his first album , " David Sea " for Magic City in 86 ? , but can't find track listing or pic of album , Thanks,
Benji Posted June 22, 2009 Posted June 22, 2009 I have two (or maybe three, can't remember) David Sea albums on Magic City, "night after night" isn't on any of them...
Guest TONY ROUNCE Posted June 22, 2009 Posted June 22, 2009 ...was issued twice on 45 on Crown Unlimited, I think, with two different B sides - one of which is a fantastic version of Roscoe Robinson's "Do It Right Now"...

Do they have different cat. numbers? I have "Night after night" on Crown Ltd. but never bothered to play the flip... Tony, who's that in your avatar? Just curious, I like those glasses

Didn't know it had been Reissued, Tony. I have "Night After Night" (coupled with "When Did You Start") and "Do It Right Now" (coupled with Who's Been Warmin My Oven) on seperate 45's. You're right about DIRN. A Fabulous version. Sean
John Reed Posted June 22, 2009 Posted June 22, 2009 (edited) ...was issued twice on 45 on Crown Unlimited, I think, with two different B sides - one of which is a fantastic version of Roscoe Robinson's "Do It Right Now"... Oh, I only know of two releases by him on Crown Int, didn't know of a third. Do It right Now/Who's Been warming My Oven - NR15306 Night After Night/When Did You Start Stop Loving Me - NR15655-1 I think these are the sides that match, If I'm wrong its due to me not tagging them correctly on ITunes. Thought these were after the Hy-Tyde release of Angle and before the re-release of it on T-Jaye Edited June 22, 2009 by John Reed
Guest TONY ROUNCE Posted June 22, 2009 Posted June 22, 2009 Sean and John are both right - I just wasn't reading my discography properly! And what's worse, I do have the other single, too. Apologies for the misinformation. But I'm right about "Do It Right Now" being fabulous...

jocko Posted June 25, 2009 Posted June 25, 2009 "Night after Night" Got that one, would like the other one, but for a lot less than the number you quoted.
Sean Hampsey Posted June 25, 2009 Posted June 25, 2009 Got that one, would like the other one, but for a lot less than the number you quoted. How about a Bill Brandon, Jock?
