Guest Posted June 17, 2005 Posted June 17, 2005 My first recollection of BW was I Can't Understand It/ Harry Hippie, little did I realise back then that this guy was a genius, here's a few tracks that are out of this world: The Roads Of Life/Give It Up/You're Welcome Stop On By/Daylight/Trust In Me/So Many Sides Of You/Lay Your Lovin On Me/If You Think You're Lonely Now/Home Is Where The Heart Is/Someday we'll All Be Free/When The Weekend Comes/Can'tha Hear The Children Calling/Trust Your Heart/Tell Me Why/Nobody Wants You When You're Down & Out/Put Something Down On It/What's Your World/So Many Rivers..............................think you'll agree that this man is sheer class............... So whats your favourite BW track?

s7oul Posted June 17, 2005 Posted June 17, 2005 Your right the man is a genius, with so many to choose from it's an extremely difficult choice, but the track that always stands out for me is - I DON'T WANNA BE HURT BY YA LOVE AGAIN From the 1973 United Artist LP - LOOKING FOR A LOVE AGAIN Patrick

Geoff Posted June 19, 2005 Posted June 19, 2005 Extremely hard to pick a favourite Womack track, just so many to choose from. One I particularly like is from Womagic, The Things We Do (When We Get Lonely). Also in the Modern vein I like one he did with Lulu on Dome titled I'm Back For More, not sure if there was another version of that one. And of course the Poet 1 and 2 are both great albums.
