memory failing. this was on soul hawk, right?  there was also a release on black magic in the uk, right? was it a horrendous re-recording a-la bob relf, or did they use the original track?

Dont think so?,you dont get the same b/side,think b/magic as newer version on bside,orig being "hold your horses" could be wrong though!!.

so, can we confirm that both sides are newer versions then, which wouldn't be that surprising given the track record of black magic?

No,A side i think is identical to original,B side now thats another story,and i cant tell it!!,anyway why all the interest? :unsure:

right. that narrows it down a bit. a mate here in spain is crazy about the record & not bothered if it's not an original. it seems he's more interested in the instrumental as well, so I guess he's gonna have buy the british black magic job. not my cup of tea at all, but then it's horses for courses I suppose...

flip of "Sweet Darlin" on Soul Hawk was "somebody stop that girl"........"hold your horses" flip of "tell her " on Moira (real good beaty Detroit...cheap too :unsure: )
