Guest Kolla Posted April 14, 2004 Posted April 14, 2004 "One for the Road" was his first solo album was originally released on Casablanca, as you mentioned, in 1975. It's a superb soul album. I've seen the Casablanca "One for the Road" listed on a couple of dealers lists recently. Trawling through my emails, one has it listed for £20 and the other for £21. Hope this helps.
Guest Posted April 15, 2004 Posted April 15, 2004 Right on Kolla , great LP, as was his later one called Smokin What a talent he was with all his Invictus/Hot Wax involvement, then his modern 45 on Alfa, and his 6Ts Chess stuff etc
