Ion T Posted June 17, 2009 Posted June 17, 2009 WILLIAM CUMMINGS MAKE MY LOVE A HURTING THING BANG BANG Has this been found because there has been about 3/4 on sale within the last month or so ? It has never been anywhere near as rare as price would indicate. The bowl had it as stock for less than a tenner for most of early/mid 80s. All best Ion

Rich B Posted June 18, 2009 Posted June 18, 2009 I don't know what the flipside is like, as I never gotr around to playing it. But I sold an instrumental version on Hitbound with a handwritten credit to Zeke and the Soulsearchers when I sold the rest, that was quite interesting though not nearly as good as the vocal. Best, RB

Reforee Posted June 24, 2009 Posted June 24, 2009 The flip side is a big voiced middle of the road ballad, not worthy of the other side depending on your view point MMLAHT is awesome to say the least (Got mine off Cliff Steele circa early Cleggy weekenders) was always a £200 to £300 record, until the last 2 years or so when popular demand just pushed up the price on a hard track to find? Dave Halsall ak TMIB

Dave Halsall ak TMIB Well, what was not there in quantity at John Andersons in the 8ties I ask you ? Pretty rare item and mucho indemando, so current price is no wonder IMHO. Flipside is indeed Middle of The Road....interesting to know maybe that MMLAHT is a C&W standard where there do exist other versions of as well ...yes indeed they do.
