(I couldn't find this in John Manship's nor Tim Brown's price guide when I checked some time ago, I do know that Manship got close to £200 for a copy of this one when he auctioned one some time back though. It is also featured in his "rarest of the rare" gallery. Gritty R&B flavoured northern stormer, a bit like a female answer to Freddie Williams "I Got To Live While I Can" or something. Seems rare.

Not rock & roll at all, R&B flavoured northern soul stomper, as it says on the can. I admit it is not really my cup of tea, but I really feel it should appeal to a lot of northern fans, R&B buffs and mods, and Manship really did sell a copy for £196 or something, and it really does seem rare. I don't like Freddie Williams BTW, horrible record IMO, but it was and is popular. At least I am honest.

Im being honest to when i say its the type of record that makes your ears bleed and 196p would have been to much but John does seem to have the knack of getting good prices from some people, I can remeber Gary Spencer paying John between £200 and 300 for the Flambeaus(or some spelling similar) biggest load of crap you ever heard I agree with the Freddie Williams

Sammy Bryant is a great record that should appeal to lots of people, I feel it could become popular, certainly a few million times better than Larry Trider, George Cameron, etc., etc. Time will tell if I am right or not.
