Guest Posted June 15, 2005 Posted June 15, 2005 (edited) *LaVell Kamma - Try To Keep Yourself Uptight - Sure Shot EX £100 HOLD (hold for trades, any CASH offers will get priority though) (I couldn't find this in John Manship's nor Tim Brown's price guide when I checked some time ago, I do know that Manship got close to £200 for a copy of this one when he auctioned one some time back though. It is also featured in his "rarest of the rare" gallery. Gritty R&B flavoured northern stormer, a bit like a female answer to Freddie Williams "I Got To Live While I Can" or something. Seems rare. *The Sammy Bryant Group - Grapevine - Roulette WDJ M £80 (Great big city soul, very strong vocalist whoever he is. Fab Sax break. Manship sells this at £150. Mint copy in company sleeve, a real beauty.) I accept CASH and IBAN bank account transfer ONLY this time around. Regular airmail to anywhere in the world included in the price this time. Guest Posted June 15, 2005 Posted June 15, 2005 LaVell Kamma good bit of rock and roll that Christian link Not rock & roll at all, R&B flavoured northern soul stomper, as it says on the can. I admit it is not really my cup of tea, but I really feel it should appeal to a lot of northern fans, R&B buffs and mods, and Manship really did sell a copy for £196 or something, and it really does seem rare. I don't like Freddie Williams BTW, horrible record IMO, but it was and is popular. At least I am honest.

Guest Posted June 21, 2005 Posted June 21, 2005 Sammy Bryant is a great record that should appeal to lots of people, I feel it could become popular, certainly a few million times better than Larry Trider, George Cameron, etc., etc. Time will tell if I am right or not.
