Guest Dante Posted June 10, 2009 Posted June 10, 2009 I know owt about modern playlists and all that, I practicaly don't know anything from 79 to present day, but the thing is, I was listening to a Hi NRG compilation from the most respected Djs around here, and found this song: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=-LSqFjzcljo Loverde - Die Hard Lover (Moby Dick 12") Thought it was great and sooo soulful, get me wondering if something like this could ever get played in the modern scene in the UK...
Jason S Posted June 10, 2009 Posted June 10, 2009 Not sure you could have picked a worse song to illustrate the words 'great' and 'soulful'. I think any 'modern' DJs playing that would be chased out of the building and birched! What a shocker!
ImberBoy Posted June 10, 2009 Posted June 10, 2009 I hope not!! Sounds as if from a men at work LP from 82
Guest stevejan Posted June 10, 2009 Posted June 10, 2009 I lasted 7 seconds even the cat run out of the study
jocko Posted June 10, 2009 Posted June 10, 2009 I am assuming that this is a wind up, not sure what is worse this or Nev's link to a Motown knock up done in pub singer style al la Reeves & Mortimer
Guest Matt Male Posted June 10, 2009 Posted June 10, 2009 It'll only take one 'big name' DJ to play it out and it will be massive.
Guest Dante Posted June 10, 2009 Posted June 10, 2009 I lasted 7 seconds Ooops, a little bit more information than we needed. Sorry for your girl, though Points taken. But I do believe it's great and soulful...
binsy Posted June 10, 2009 Posted June 10, 2009 I hope not!! Sounds as if from a men at work LP from 82 Falco anyone
