Guest Posted June 6, 2009 Posted June 6, 2009 About ten years ago l was sitting in an appartment in Redcar,Cleveland,that was overlooking the beach.The sun was shining and me and my daughter,Hannah, who was at 10 the time,were playing Scrabble. l had a cd playing which happened to be Temptations Greatest Hits..The record playing was 'My Girl'..."This reminds me of you" l said..."Aw that's nice,dad" she answered.The next track was 'Papa Was A Rolling Stone', she said "and do you know what dad this reminds me of you"...."Ta,love!" What's your fave tempts track?

Love the Temptations,likewise, and have seen them several times, albeit somewhat unfortunately only latterly since early eighties (no disrespect to later line ups meant) Apart from the classic 60's tracks, also love "Papa was a rolling stone" etc. but my personal fave is- I wish it would rain.......class
