A cheapie not much look getting one ,NO SILLY MONEY FOLKS ,HAD ENOUGH THIS WEEK.

BAZ A wink.gif

Yes a cheapie but try finding one!

So if this really becomes in demand will the price Rocket? To me it shouldnt as its a tune by a major artist with probably thousands of copies just stuck away.

So How do we gauge the rarity/price game?

No copies available for this but rated as a £20 tune - However over a hundred copies available on the net of a £75 tune should the JB now become £100 because it appears more popular than the £75 tune?

Hope you get one Baz - Great record

Dont really understand what your saying here.Surely the value of a record is determined by supply and demand, all records start out with a value of 50c, demand and the availability is what pushes the value to say £25,000 + .

There a numerous examples of records with a book price of £20 that are commanding far more, Friday,Saturday and Sunday - "There Must Be Something" on Dig, being just one. Also there were a huge number of copies in circulation of "i'm just nobody" but that didnt stop the value reaching near three figures when Mr Barnfarther started playing it.

Incidentally i know that the afore mentioned rates JBs "I Love You For Sentimental Reasons" very highly and demand is certain to increase if he starts putting this on his playlist.

How many are out there ? I dont know the answer to that, probably lots, as you say "major artist" and "major label"

Personally I wouldnt sell my copy for any amount of money, because, fortuanatley I dont need too , but mainly because its a fantastic up and coming tune.

Hope you find one soon.

I notice this 45 was taken from the Polydor LP entitled "Hot" - is that just as hard to locate at a reasonable cheap £20, as the 45 in question. Without having a closer look myself, or is that the same old story of "that Lp was never released or saw the light of day".
