Guest Bicks Posted June 1, 2009 Posted June 1, 2009 No One Could Love You More - Gladys Knight. Just a Little Misunderstanding - The Contours. Don't anybody disagree coz you're wrong.
Jaco Posted June 1, 2009 Posted June 1, 2009 Mission impossible again but for me, nothing will ever top..... Smokey Robinson & the Miracles - "The tracks of my tears" I heard this as a 10 year old and instantly knew that the sound eminating from Black America was much more appealing than it's British counterpart. Although there have been many, many fine tunes from Motown over the years nothing quite compares to those spine tingling opening bars, the sublime vocals and the gut wrenching lyrics. A true masterpiece.
Kev Cane Posted June 1, 2009 Posted June 1, 2009 Frank isn,t at the races all considered, not even worth a mention in comparison:- Temptations-Since I lost my baby Originals-I,ll wait for you Originals-Baby I,m for real Four Tops-Where did you go Bobby Taylor-Does your mother know about me Kev

Ged Parker Posted June 1, 2009 Posted June 1, 2009 Mission impossible again but for me, nothing will ever top..... Although there have been many, many fine tunes from Motown over the years nothing quite compares to those spine tingling opening bars, the sublime vocals and the gut wrenching lyrics. A true masterpiece. Too many to choose from but Shotgun Jnr Walker will always be special as the first 45 I can remember being bought for me as a kid. Though Smokey's lyrics are always special too. Bob Dylan called him America's greatest living poet and you can't say fairer than that.
