Guest Gene Posted May 28, 2009 Posted May 28, 2009 so I saw this idea on another forum (non-soul). Basically, starting with the question below, whoever answers the question currently being posed, gets to ask the next question. And it goes on from there. Questions can involve writers, singers, labels, label designs, producers, band members, song lyrics, etc What do you think? fun idea? My starting question is: Q: Who is Eli Fox?

Don't know either, but on the trivia front, did you know that Bob Holness played the saxaphone on Bari Track????

michael-j Posted May 28, 2009 Posted May 28, 2009 apparently he alsoplayed saxon gerry raffertys baker st. i presumed it was that urban myth that Bicks was alluding to? now a true fact about Holness is that he was the second actor to play James Bond (in a '56 radio version)
Ged Parker Posted May 28, 2009 Posted May 28, 2009 i presumed it was that urban myth that Bicks was alluding to? now a true fact about Holness is that he was the second actor to play James Bond (in a '56 radio version) It is a myth the Sax thing is anyway. Started by none other than Stuart Marconi in his NME days. No idea who the Eli Fox is that has a connection with soul music though

Guest Gene Posted May 28, 2009 Posted May 28, 2009 What 'non soul' site did you see this on Gene? I think it was a book site. People would ask questions about characters, items in rooms and people who post book and page. So the answer is: Eli Fox is The Replacer, from The Metros "The Replacer". New Question: Which Earl Nelson song was on both Mirwood and Mira?

You sure you don't mean Earl Cosby? If you do it's Ooh Honey Baby.
Guest Gene Posted May 28, 2009 Posted May 28, 2009 Oh dear. Note to self, don't try to be funny. You sure you don't mean Earl Cosby? If you do it's Ooh Honey Baby. well ya, i guess it helps to ask the question correctly - should have left Metros up longer - that woulda stumped people for quite awhile I expect. That is correct. so Jumpin' the question moves to you. and it goes on from there. whoever gets the answer correct asks the next question.. Gene
