I find it incredible how ebay operate. I sold a few on ebay a while ago, and I got an email saying ebay selling fees for this month, and they had just taken the money out of my account. I thought nothing of it. Then the month after, I got the same email, and the same result, but I had sold a record for a mate, so I didn't question it again. Then this month I got it again... :) ...but I hadn't sold anything????? When I looked into it, they said I had agreed to some sort of monthly payment???? ohmy.gif What the fook for? I put a stop to the agreement, but as usual they had already taken the money out of my account. That's £30 x 3months for what? Bloody ridiculous...how can they just take money out of your account like that?

i'll have to look into this. same sort of monthly fees thingy but my bill was £99. i'm sure i didn't sell that many records to warrant such fees.

Here's what you need to do my friend. For more information on payment agreements, go to the PayPal website and click Help in the upper right corner. Then type "payment agreements" in the search box.

That's how I cancelled mine. I have also opened a dispute with paypal to try and find out what the hell it was all about. Maybe try and get my money back. I don't use ebay uk anymore. As usual with everything it's rip off Britain. Far better to sell your 45's on the us site. Only problem I had with this is you can't alter the postage to u.s buyers. So I wrote in huge red letters on the discription that all buyers should contact me for postage. :( The U.K. winners all paid the proper postage. Not one of the U.S. ones did. angry.gif

I`ve just sold something that went for £56 on eBay. They charged me £2.00 just for listing it. I try to save cash by starting the listing at 0.99 and putting a reserve price on. (minimum reserve price is now £50  ) Only listing the item in one place with just one photo. All these little addons that eBay encourage you to use to "have a better chance of selling your item" is just hogwash in my opinion to get more cash out of the buyer. Dunno what other charges they`re going to slap on me.

It's the fact that they can just take money out of your account at will that pisses me off. That should be against the law.
