TheBigO Posted April 10, 2004 Posted April 10, 2004 Just thought I'd say that I really enjoyed the lovely Jo's interview an choice of songs - however as I didn't get a mention and Taffy did I can no longer entertain the idea of having her DJing at the Plinston :-) So, looks like Ms Wallace it's having to wait until The Rocket re-opens for you....Neen Nee, Neee, Naaah Nahhh!!!!! Hugs and kisses
Guest Posted April 10, 2004 Posted April 10, 2004 Strange enough, but amongst all the pop stuff being played by the pre-match DJ at the old Baseball Ground, back in the early to mid-70s, Johnny Moore's 'Walk like a man' used to get a fairly regular airing. Although Northern was beginning to x-over into the charts at that time, it was an odd record to play pre-match in that I can never recall it being a massive record at the time?? top record though - and likewise the Blue Rock 'Lonely hearts' choon as well!! Can do no wrong Mr Moore for me Cheers RichS
Mike Posted April 10, 2004 Posted April 10, 2004 Just a reminder if havent heard show can catch it on the radio 2 site - https://www.bbc.co.uk/radio/aod/radio2_aod....singingdancing# Talking other day about laugh laugh laugh, as couldn't really see the "attraction" to the attention its been getting recently, the instru flip "butlers theme" did more for me (If Stevie t reading - bloody lou lawton! )
