Guest Little Anthony Posted May 20, 2009 Posted May 20, 2009 (edited) Anyone know what happened to Brian. His nights at Shepwell Green (Willenhall, West Midlands) were always enjoyable when I was getting back into Northern after a gap of some years. A real gent, always happy to chat and play punters requests. Edited May 20, 2009 by Little Anthony

Guest SoulRenaissance Posted May 20, 2009 Posted May 20, 2009 He's packed it in. Think I may have bought the last of his collection off him. When was that Pete, as he was still doing a bit either in 2008, or 2007? Martyn
Guest Dirk Tiggler Posted May 20, 2009 Posted May 20, 2009 When was that Pete, as he was still doing a bit either in 2008, or 2007? Martyn I agree, some of those Friday nights at Shepwell were brilliant. He always played a great set, some I'd never heard before. Last time I spoke to him was at Studio 1 club in Dudley, around 2006 and from memory, I believe he was still looking to DJ. but if he'd sold up, what collection he'd be playing I don't know but as you say, a first rate bloke. Pete S Posted May 21, 2009 Posted May 21, 2009 Thanks for confirming. Martyn Didn't have much left but it looked like he was making a clean break of it because he was trying to sell all his dj equipment as well.

Guest sandi Posted July 7, 2009 Posted July 7, 2009 As already been mentioned, Brian is indeed a gent, l loved the nights at Shepwell Green, made all that better for me as l only lived across the road from there back then, l know he decided to calm things down a bit, think it was family commitments. Back then l remember it was only Brian who promoted the venue and he alone was tha only D.j. and if it was'nt for the Shepwell green Club Manager causing a few wave's he'd still be running a very successful soul night. Hat's off to Brian he did us proud. Sandi xx
