Guest Posted May 21, 2009 Posted May 21, 2009 (edited) wynder k frog? whos that is he shit sounds shit ar kid London-born keyboard player , Mick Weaver - AKA Wynder K Frog - has had a long career in music . At the start of his career , he performed and became popular on the student union and club circuit in the mid sixties . Over the course of three albums - " Sunshine Superfrog "' and " Out of the Frying Pan " released by Island in the UK , and the US only " Into the Fire " on United Artists , the Wynder K Frog band produced some of the most enduring club - organ R & B slanted material to come from the swinging 60's mod scene . Though his choice of material was not always well chosen ( i.e. " Alexander's Rag Time Band " ) , the Wynder K Frog overall strike rate is pretty high , possibly cumninating by producing the mod , and later northern soul classic with his cover of " Green Door " , included on the album " Out of the Frying Pan " . . Guest Posted May 25, 2009 Posted May 25, 2009 (edited) Well, mate, Wynder K. Frogg was in a sixties band called Traffic that got to no.2 in the charts with a song called Hole In My Shoe Sorry ........... Traffic was formed when Steve Winwood , who was the focal point of the Spencer Davis Group , decided to move beyond the restrictions of the SDG , and form his own band Traffic , which consisted of Birmingham area based musicians , guitarist Dave Mason , who had been a member of the Worcester group The Hellions in the early 1960s , along with drummer Jim Capaldi . Capaldi worked with The Hellions , who were re - named Deep Feeling , after Dave Mason's departure . Dave Mason had previously worked as a roadie for the Spencer Davis Group . Saxophone / flute player Chris Wood had been a member of the group Locomotive and previous to that , had been in Sounds Of Blue , which later became Chicken Shack . Any road up ...... I am surprised no one has commented on the use of The Dells " Oh What A Night " , behing the advertisment for Dreams ( the bed specialists ) , on ITV3 .......
