chrissie Posted May 19, 2009 Posted May 19, 2009 (edited) "Thats Not Love" as well, i don't care what anybody says about this classic oldie (and a lot of you don't like it) but i bloodywell love the song and proud of it! I think you are missing the point, this is not about music that we don't like, I love most of what has been posted, but about pop that crossed over, most of it we will love and some we will just cringe at. I love Holly St James and play it out (if Steve Guarnori isn't about - but that's another story) but it is a pop recording that crossed over to the northern scene as is with most of what has been posted. Guest Posted May 20, 2009 Posted May 20, 2009 (edited) Hope this isn't go to turn into Racial Soulful/Non Soul arguement but reckon Dusty Springfield is more soulful than Boney M And where do you stand if you don't know what their colour is ? Example ....... Until it was confirmed otherwise , I first thought Dean Courtney was white , due to his vocal styling on " I'll Always Need You " , which - to me was ( and still is ) very similar to Len Barry ........
