Supercorsa Posted April 8, 2004 Posted April 8, 2004 With recent postings with regards to cheap originals, has anybody got a discography of Golden World releases? Also going rates would be handy, as I know they can't all be cheap.
Gene-r Posted April 8, 2004 Posted April 8, 2004 I'm sure Dave Rimmer won't object to me posting the hyperlink here to the Golden World discography on his "Soulful Kinda Music" site! Have a look around the site too - well neat! https://www.soulfulkindamusic.net/goldenworld.htm Gene
Dave Rimmer Posted April 9, 2004 Posted April 9, 2004 Thanks Gene. I know I've posted this elsewhere in the past, but with regard to the Soulful Kinda Music site, if anyone wants to use things from the site, please feel free. All I would ask is that you credit Soulful Kinda Music as the source. cheers
Guest Posted June 9, 2004 Posted June 9, 2004 I've been collecting Golden World for years and have most of the label, and to be honest, most of it is pop, not soul but what I'd love, if anyone has one or has ever seen one, is a Golden World sleeve. The general concencus is they don't exist. The Golden World group issued everything in plain sleeves but you never know, there might be one or two out there.

Dave Rimmer Posted June 9, 2004 Posted June 9, 2004 Errr, Hi Guest The early series, and the later series were deliberately not included, but if you can come up with complete listings I'd be very grateful cheers
Dave Rimmer Posted June 9, 2004 Posted June 9, 2004 Just as a little bit of interest, bought a mint white demo of 'Heart Trouble' last Saturday
Supercorsa Posted June 9, 2004 Author Posted June 9, 2004 Just as a little bit of interest, bought a mint white demo of 'Heart Trouble' last Saturday I'll bet that wasn't as cheap as chips?!
Dave Rimmer Posted June 9, 2004 Posted June 9, 2004 Well if you bought an awful lot of chips you could say that it was as cheap as chips !

Guest Posted June 10, 2004 Posted June 10, 2004 I've no idea what "Ooh Boy" goes for John but you know I've offered you whatever you want and you still won't sell! Anybody out there got any news on the sleeves by the way? Mr Rimmer?

Dayo Posted June 11, 2004 Posted June 11, 2004 Reference the Adorables: seen it as cheap as £25 and as high as £250. Fabulous, gorgeous record.
Guest Posted June 11, 2004 Posted June 11, 2004 The missing Golden World numbers above, 103 and 106, were actually allocated/released on the early Ric Tic label. Golden World & Ric-Tic labels
