Pete S Posted May 14, 2009 Posted May 14, 2009 Blimey I remember buying packs of 10 records for a quid in our local tv/record shop in the village and there was one of those in every other pack. It's actually The Packers - Go Head On / Hole in the wall.

Kev Moore Posted May 14, 2009 Posted May 14, 2009 Presumably on the Black/Green label. After a Red and Yellow, but never seen one, and don't know anyone who has. I've one on black/green (sorry not for sale though). Never seen a red/yellow one either. Kev

PM yes - composing a reply... Should have come out on Red/Yellow (early number) - was (re)issued in 72 on the black/green..... And there's one here: https://www1.gemm.com/item/MAXEY--JOE--S./S...B/GML607946056/ Bit pricey I.M.O.
Nickinstoke Posted March 11, 2015 Posted March 11, 2015 Sorry to dig this thread up again, but I wondered if anyone knows how this came about - 2 well-known tracks by the Packers (a hit in the states) put out under different artist name, different track titles, different composer credits and claiming to be a Lupine production. Could it have been a pressing plant cock-up, or was there something dodgy going on?
