Linda4me Posted June 16, 2014 Posted June 16, 2014 No I won't say that, I had it long ago but haven't bought one since because it's f*cking sh*t... Say what you mean Pete 2
Linda4me Posted June 16, 2014 Posted June 16, 2014 Exactly……even one Mick Smith doesn't have….. He might do soon ???
Guest Aaron Darcy Posted June 16, 2014 Posted June 16, 2014 timi yuro always seems to get big money not rare over rated
Geeselad Posted June 17, 2014 Posted June 17, 2014 Not a 45, but the Len Barry LP that Tony Ellis and Richard Searling had, think they were the only know copies, both without a sleeve. Carl Willingham has one now
El Corol Posted June 18, 2014 Posted June 18, 2014 I've never seen a white and red UK Liberty Demo of Timi Yuro INBOFM. Are there many of those about?
Pete S Posted June 18, 2014 Posted June 18, 2014 I've never seen a white and red UK Liberty Demo of Timi Yuro INBOFM. Are there many of those about? Why would you? They'd stopped making red and white demos for two years when that came out. They'd even stopped green and whites. There is no demo, you might see one with a sticker on it or a date stamp.

Pete S Posted June 18, 2014 Posted June 18, 2014 Well that answers that then. Though wouldn't it be nice for one to turn up now Yes but it can't, because that label design was never meant to have a white demo, if you see what I mean
El Corol Posted June 18, 2014 Posted June 18, 2014 Yes but it can't, because that label design was never meant to have a white demo, if you see what I mean Yes Pete I see what you mean. I'll give up my 30 year search for Creedance Clearwater Revival White and Red demos now then
Wiganer1 Posted June 18, 2014 Posted June 18, 2014 You are quite correct Sir. The American Youth Choir is very difficult indeed but not a Holy Grail. PS - I have a spare of the American Youth Choir. PM me if interested in taking it off my hands. i had a red uk issue of the american youth choir ...brillaint wigan oldie
Pete S Posted June 18, 2014 Posted June 18, 2014 Yes Pete I see what you mean. I'll give up my 30 year search for Creedance Clearwater Revival White and Red demos now then I would LOL and Canned Heat
Supercorsa Posted June 18, 2014 Posted June 18, 2014 Just read all of this old thread I started about uk holy grails and found it strange no one mentioned the darrell banks issue - see post below I take your point but I'd say that the Holy Grail tends to differ for each collector in that maybe it's the items you've never had or got that you consider the rarest and most desirable. I mean anyone would be chuffed to get DB on London DJ but it wouldn't really merit a thread on SS. However I will meet you halfway and say that turning up a London issue would be the HG. Doesn't exist as far as I know.Although I wouldn't be surprised if it turned up from some guy who worked at the pressing plant. Im seeing initials NW and 2014 but it's very blurry ROD As for myself, I still can't get excited about UK issues. 2
KevH Posted June 18, 2014 Posted June 18, 2014 Question that I mentioned on the DB thread. Was mockingbird - c& inez fox released on London?

Sceneman Posted June 19, 2014 Posted June 19, 2014 (edited) timi yuro always seems to get big money they didnt sell many at the time due to the downturn ,less were pressed as demand wasnt there nobody wanted soul in 69 cos they were all on new wave stuff from america Edited June 19, 2014 by sceneman
