Smoke/Black Smoke are the same band and it's the same album, I'm fairly certain of that. Probably a contractual thing at the time. 'Sunshine Roses & Rainbows' is a choooooon.

Cheers

My Smoke LP on choc.city just says "Smoke", the labels are reversed also!.

Got both LP's in front of me but they look like different folk to me, must be the hats!

prefer "Freedom of the mind", but yes, 'sunshine is a tune'.

I put 'sunshine' on a tape for a 45 only collecter some years back and covered it as Voices of East Harlem!, still haven't told him! .

My j-bridge LP track-'so glad you came along' plays very qiute!, does yours?

Agreed about 'Freedom Of The Mind', another top tune. Only got the Jap P-Vine reissue of the J-Bridge album and the levels are fine on that.

Wish I'd thought of that, does sound like them too. The lead has a high voice(youngster) and sounds a bit like a big girl!

Haven't seen the re-issue, but compareing both sleeves still not convinced it's the same group!, but if you say they are, that's fine by me. Regards.

Same as mine except it says 'Smoke' not 'Black Smoke'.

Is the label track listing reversed?

is the name on the sleeve and the type set track listing is

exactly the same as is the picture of the group buried some

where i have the story behind the name think it was a legal

problem if i can find it i,ll post it up.

regardless of name it is a well reccommended album
