Hi All,

Heard this for the first time about a month ago and its really growing on me. Was this issued in the USA? I note there is a picture sleeve copy on eBay at the moment on RCA Italian for £150.

Is this the going rate for this single and were there any other Countries it was released in?

It's only available as a 7" on that italian release.

In the US it was only issued on her "Explosion!" LP on Alston (#4402).

NOTE that she also recorded a later different version of this tune on another Alston LP (#4410, "Betty Travelin' In The Wright Circle").

Don't think there is a "going rate" as such for this record.

Manship auctioned a copy a couple of months ago and got £347 for it.

I sold a copy for £125 about a year ago.

People living in Italy will without doubt have much more luck finding copies of this 45 than people outside of Italy...

I've got the LP on French RCA so presume other European copies of LP will be on RCA as well

There was loads of copies of the LP on Gemm, Musicstack, ebay etc not over long ago but doesn't seem to be anywhere near as many now and the ones that are on there seem to be £20ish

That's true Sebastian, even if it is not so common even in Italy.

I found two copies in the last 10 years or so, both for 50 cents... the first one when it was not in demand, the second one last year.

Hi Marco, i'm agree with you, as a soul vinil seeker in every little market and garage sale in Rome i have to confirm that is still a quite rare record to find: I hadn't seen one in 20 years....till this sunday!!!!

In the usual Porta Portese market, i've found an unplayed copy that i paid for the price of an Espresso ;-)

Yes, I have one - bought it as a normal copy, but never looked inside the sleeve until months after, so I was pleasantly surprised - not seen another one though, apart from an avatar on here - must be more around though I would think.

PS. the eBay stock copy was mine - didn't sell at £150 - will take £125 inclusive of Spec Dely - If interested let me know - PM or post.
