EAST DENE SOUL

has now finished

Due to a variety of reasons mainly the club steward (barsteward...!!)

Talc...(I do sympathise to a certain extent with the cleaners as it was a good enough floor without talc)

Steward and wife who was unable to sell their pie and chips etc as they do on the bingo and group nights-( I suppose they have to make a living..as we all do)

and uppity bar staff who thought they should decide that the lights go on 20 minutes before the one o'clock finish

Wouldn't you be pissed off if you were in a cinema and they put the lights on 20 mins before the end of the film? same thing.

Anyhow the club will now go back to Saturday bingo nights ...where the patrons will sit there all night with 1 and a half pints and a bingo marker in their hand....clickey click...it makes me sick.

Thanks to all who made East Dene all that it became over the last 18 months and the club commitee members who enthusiaticlly supported the night.(It made sorely needed revenue for the club)

Big Kisses to Shirl and Joyce... the infamous Brandy Sisters who did a number of spots for me... and all the other guests
