Billy imo its a good move, new venue for me just could'nt get that buzz, i was at maxines just over a month ago, seating much better more secluded, from a dancers point of view the floor needed a good polish, all the best be there in july, wat about the parking the barrier was down last time. Guest Soultown andy Posted May 11, 2009 Posted May 11, 2009 Maximes is perfect for niters and the owner tony is now running the club hiself,already fitting new carpets thru out building a kiosk for soft drinks tea and coffee etc.A new bar is being built and the dance floor is being re sanded and polished just for billy.The car parking is sorted with the car park outside the club and large carparks less than 2 mins walk away.

I think this will be a good move. Being a "main room" person I found the new room at Middleton too cramped and had a laminate, not wooden, floor. Went to the Wigan Niter last month and had an excellent time. I heard that the record dealers felt out of it on the new balcony but the set up at Wigan is just perfect. Looking forward to July already! Mark C

I am a Northern man who likes things reet n proper, you do not have women headmasters in Yorkshire schools and you do not have male tea ladies! I watched a program once about astronaughts n stuff, they had a woman go up in space to do cooking and tidying for the cosmonaughts but there was a risk of their wombs blowing up in orbit so the idea was scrapped.
