Russ Vickers Posted May 17, 2009 Posted May 17, 2009 Ady C has been playing 'Why Can't It Be Tonight' covered as Gerri Grainger for more than 15 years. I thought he'd said who it was once or twice, but on later questioning, seems I may have been mistaken. Didnt think he knew who it was mate. Russ

harpo1 Posted June 7, 2009 Posted June 7, 2009 I was on stage with Chris Plant (in my role as advisor in regard to play order), at the Fleet in Peterborough some time in '80. Kev Draper was on next and played Richards Joe Matthews monster c/u, uncovered(The Group feat Cecil Washington). That created quite a stir to say the least
Guest Barry Holland Posted June 10, 2009 Posted June 10, 2009 I agree !! They were fab weekenders at the Vauxhall. I was rooting through some papers the other night & came across the official programmes & my membership cards (yep Im a hoarder). Wow ! it took me back. The first programme from March 90 is bright yellow & a bit basic (which is understandable as it was the first weekender) The 2nd programme is of better quality & has stood the test of time. However I do cherish both programmes equally as both weekenders were fab & a real warm up for the wonderful weekenders that were to come at Beacholme in Cleethorpes ! Right back to the subject matter ..... I'm afraid I cant help you out with any C/U's whatsoever so its over & out from me (thank god you say). Cheers Jim for making me smile again about the TAC weekenders. Ali x OH WHAT MEMORIES, GREAT YARMOUTH WK/ENDERS. I AM A HOARDER ALSO. I'VE ALSO GOT A COUPLE OF TAPES, RECORDED FROM THE RADIO ON-SITE. IN THE MIDDLE OF THE LITTLE ANN RECORD SOMEONE INTERJECTS SO NO-ONE COULD COPY THE RECORD. HAS BEEN ONE OF MY FAVES FOR YEARS AND WAS THERE AT CLEETHORPES 1999 WHEN SHE WAS ON WITH BOBBY HUTTON. KEEP THE FAITH. BARRY KAY GEE BEE.
