Guest Dante Posted May 16, 2009 Posted May 16, 2009 (edited) Wow, thanks for that! Nothing new, but I think it's the best mainstream media article I've ever read about Northern Soul. JUst one mention to the Casino and none of Footsee, holdalls and stuff It's interesting the thing he says about americans realising the prices and the difficulty of finding bargains... Edit: just saw it was on Record Collector, so it's not thaat mainstream. Early- mid 90s? It's still good, though... Edited May 16, 2009 by Dante
pikeys dog Posted May 16, 2009 Posted May 16, 2009 Interesting to read that Danny Moore was still rated at £1K at the time of the article.
Simon T Posted May 16, 2009 Author Posted May 16, 2009 Interesting to read that Danny Moore was still rated at £1K at the time of the article. Perhaps because one was sold around the time for £700 . Pitching it at £1K maybe made the buyer think he'd got a bargain and had not been lead by the nose?
